Despite being less than 1% of all couples, television commercials with Asian and Black couples are becoming more common. Sometimes they only are shown in a glimpse and sometimes they command the entire commercial. In this article, we will chronicle some of the more memorable television commercials that all have a more significant presence of Asian and Black couples. Tide Plus Bleach – This one is a classic and created a pleasant stir in the Blasian couple community when it first aired in 2013.

China McDonald’s – This ad aired in China in 2016. The ad tries to say that happiness is keeping life simple, hence McDonald’s.

Qbrexza – a non-speaking BMAW couple in the back half of this 2019 ad that caught the attention of many.

Whole Foods – A very cute 2019 ad that leaves no doubt about who is in charge.

Cadillac CTS – This 2016 ad had a certain appeal with Black nerdy types.

K-Y Yours and Mine – Jerry and Dee from the popular “LaVigne Life” Youtube channel shot this cute ad with a little bit of acting 🙂

Walmart Grocery – And not to leave our AMBW couples out of the loop, but this Walmart 2016 fast-paced ad is arguably the best of the bunch so far!

It’s a welcome change to see more and more Asian and Black couples featured in big budget television commercials. We will update this list with other significant television commercials as we find them.
